Emma and Matt’s wedding in Etton Cambridgeshire

At last summer arrived – in mid October !

This must have been the most beautiful day of the year. Although I generally don’t like the sun when photographing it can have its benefits. One is the flare which gives some interesting results. The other is when the sun is low and about to hit the horizon. We deliberately waited for this and consequently got some great sunset shots. Once the sun has dipped below the horizon the light becomes very soft and directional as can be seen with the horse and moonlight shots. This is light that photographers and directors die for.

Emma and Matt got married at St Stephens in Etton near Peterborough. They were in fact minor celebrities for a while as they were the first couple to get married there in 10 years ! Quite amazing really when you look at the beautiful, tranquil location. This was followed by a marquee reception nearby with a cool jazz funk band, get funked

Below are some of my favourites. The complete set is also ready. Just go to ‘Links’ above, then ‘client area’ and finally enter the password (surnames that I’m sure you’ll have no trouble with !).

That’s all for now. Emma and Matt – hope you’re having a great honeymoon in Scotland. See you on your return
